Senior Full-Stack Developer

Senior Full-Stack Developer | Toronto – Hybrid
💰 Salary: $160,000–$170,000 CAD + 1% equity (4-year vesting)
📍 Location: Downtown Toronto (3 days/week in office, non-negotiable)
🕒 Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Are you a builder, not just a maintainer? Join a high-growth early-stage SaaS startup transforming residential real estate workflows and data analytics. You’ll be one of the first engineers beyond the founding team, owning systems end-to-end—from architecture to production—and influencing core technical decisions.
What You’ll Do:
Lead architecture, design, development, and deployment of critical platform components
Build and maintain backend microservices (Python, AWS EKS/Lambda, Docker)
Develop and optimize the React + TypeScript frontend, integrating with Postgres databases
Implement CI/CD, monitoring, and troubleshooting for production systems
Collaborate directly with the CTO, co-founder, and a tight-knit team of engineers
What You Bring:
5–7+ years of full-stack development experience, ideally with early-stage startup or fintech/proptech experience
Proven “zero-to-one” delivery experience (idea → production → real usage)
Strong systems thinking: caching, async behavior, performance, race conditions
Hands-on experience with Python backend, React/TypeScript frontend, AWS, Terraform, Postgres
Passion for high-autonomy work and technical mentorship
Bonus Green Flags:
GitHub or portfolio showcasing interesting projects or zero-to-one builds
Strong personal presentation and clean, well-structured resume
Multi-language and tech-stack breadth, experimentation with new tools
