Hiring: Senior Financial Analyst | 18-Month Contract

Our client, a publicly traded organization, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide maternity leave coverage for an 18-month contract.

This is a hands-on technical accounting role ideal for someone strong in financial reporting and reconciliations.

🔎 Key Responsibilities:

• Lead month-end and quarter-end close
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
• Support financial statement preparation and working papers
• Ensure reporting accuracy and meet tight deadlines
• Review the work of one junior team member

📍 Hybrid Model – 2 days per week in office

✅ Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of progressive accounting/financial reporting experience
• Strong reconciliation background
• Public company experience (strongly preferred)
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
• CPA designation is an asset
