Job Title: Senior DevOps/Cloud Engineer (AWS | Amazon Connect)
📍 Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 3 days onsite @ 222 Jarvis St.)
💰 Rate: $90/hr
📅 Deadline to Apply: May 14, 2025, 11:00 a.m. EST
We’re looking for a Senior DevOps/Cloud Engineer with deep AWS expertise to lead the design and implementation of cloud-based contact center solutions for the Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement.
This is a contract opportunity working on high-impact, enterprise-level initiatives in the public sector.

✅ Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and support secure, scalable AWS cloud environments
Lead implementation of Amazon Connect solutions (Call/Queue Flows, Contact Lens, CTR Data, Agent Experience)
Build and maintain microservices, serverless architectures, containers, and Kubernetes
Ensure system availability, performance, and security monitoring (CloudWatch, CloudTrail)
Automate infrastructure via CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, CloudFormation, and related tools
Develop system architecture, documentation, and integration plans
Perform proactive analysis and support of cloud-based systems

🧠 Required Skills & Experience:
10+ years in software development with 5+ years in AWS cloud
Expert in AWS services: Lambda, Connect, API Gateway, Lex, CLI, Kinesis, S3, KMS, Glue, DynamoDB, RDS, Amplify
Proficiency with AWS CLI, SDK, CloudFormation, IAM roles, and AWS security best practices
Hands-on with Amazon Connect solutions and related services (Call Recording, Metrics, Contact Lens)
Familiar with monitoring tools, cloud security models, and automation frameworks
Experience with CI/CD, GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, Ansible, Chef, Puppet
Strong scripting skills: Python, Bash, Java, JavaScript, Node, etc.

🏛️ Nice to Have:
Experience with contact center solutions in public sector/government environments
Familiarity with Public Sector IT frameworks (e.g., Unified I&IT PM Methodology, EA standards)
Understanding of IVR/Workflow systems and cloud compliance standards
