Are you a seasoned data analyst with expertise in data governance, regulatory compliance, and data lineage? A leading Canadian bank is looking for a Senior Data Governance Analyst to join their Data Remediation Audit Program on a 12-month contract.

Role Overview:
As a Senior Data Governance Analyst, you will:
🔹 Define and manage technology data governance frameworks
🔹 Catalog Critical Data Elements (CDEs) and trace data lineage
🔹 Perform data profiling, analysis, and quality assurance
🔹 Work with technology, risk, and audit teams to optimize data management processes
🔹 Lead stakeholder discussions and presentations
Must-Have Skills:
✅ 10+ years in data-focused roles with 5+ years in data governance & lineage
✅ Strong experience in IT operations, technology risk, and resilience (ServiceNow is a plus)
✅ Excellent communication & presentation skills for technical and business stakeholders
✅ Hands-on expertise with SQL, Python ETL, Power BI (Google Cloud is preferred)
Nice-to-Have Skills:
🌍 Bilingual in Spanish
🔹 Familiarity with COBIT, Cyber Security reporting, and NoSQL storage
🔹 Experience with AI/ML, data visualization, and ITIL framework
📍 Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)
⏳ Contract: 12 months
