Senior Data Engineer

Senior Data Engineer (Fully Remote | 12-Month Contract )

I’m looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer for a 12-month fully remote contract (EST working hours). This is a high-impact role with a focus on modern data architecture and real-time data engineering solutions.

🛡️ Must-Have:
– Active Canadian Reliability Clearance
– Expertise in Spark with Python or Scala
– Experience with Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Synapse, Delta Lakes
– Proven ability to lead Data Engineering practices within a team

🛠️ Nice-to-Haves:
– Integration tools: Azure Event Hub, Function App, C#
– Data modeling (Data Vault, Star, Snowflake, 3NF)
– Real-time streaming tools: Spark Streaming, Kafka, Flink, Storm
– Exposure to SQL and NoSQL (SQL Server, MongoDB, CosmosDB, etc.)
– Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, Maven, Nexus
