📋 Role Details:
📍 Location: Remote or onsite (must be in Canada).
📅 Contract Term: December 1, 2025 – March 31, 2027 (16 months, potential extension).

💼 Job Description:
Join our Data Management team to design and deliver high-impact analytics infrastructure for major healthcare projects. Reporting to the Manager of Data Management and working with a Project Manager-led team, you’ll ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Key responsibilities include:
🛠️ Data Pipeline Development: Design and build infrastructure for optimal ETL using Informatica, SQL, SSIS, APIs, and other technologies.
📊 Database Architecture: Architect relational/multi-dimensional databases (star/snowflake schemas, SCD, Fact/Cube) aligned with provincial data platforms.
⚙️ Process Optimization: Automate manual processes, optimize data delivery, and redesign pipelines for scalability.
📈 Analytics Tools: Build tools providing actionable insights into operational efficiencies and key metrics.
🔧 ETL Maintenance: Develop, optimize, troubleshoot, and monitor ETL environments, including backup/recovery.

✅ Mandatory Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or Computer Science (or related diploma + 3 additional years experience).
5+ years proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
2+ years hands-on experience with Informatica (Power Centre, Integration Services, Workflow Manager, IDMC, TDM) in integrated environments.

🌟 Desired Qualifications:
Expert knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, PL/SQL, R, Python, Unix/Linux/Windows, Shell Scripting, APIs, and algorithms/data structures.
Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (asset).
Experience with healthcare data (asset).
