Senior Data Architects

Senior Data Architects (x3) | Hybrid – Edmonton, Alberta, Canada | Contract

We’re hiring 3 Senior Data Architects to help build a modern Data Centre of Excellence, driving scalable data platforms, Data Mesh/Fabric architectures, and high-value data products.

$50–$85/hour contract

We’re looking for:
5+ years in data architecture & platforms
·        Must-Have Qualifications
·        Degree, diploma, or certification in a related field
·        5+ years designing and implementing data platforms and architectures
·        5+ years defining technical architecture and integration solutions
·        5+ years across multiple architecture domains (business, application, technology)
·        5+ years translating complex business processes into technical solutions
·        3+ years engaging with stakeholders and explaining complex data concepts
·        Hands-on experience with Data Mesh / Data Fabric architectures
·        Experience designing scalable data products (curated datasets, APIs, etc.)
·        Exposure to machine learning / data science-enabled architectures
·        Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF)
·        Background in public sector environments
·        Experience with Cloudera Data Platform or similar big data ecosystems
·        Strong capabilities in data governance, security, and privacy controls
·        Proven ability to lead workshops, influence stakeholders, and drive consensus
·        Experience developing data roadmaps and enabling teams through training
