Hiring : Senior Data Architect / Data Modeller (Public Sector)-Ontario

Contract Details:

Engagement Type: Contract (Onsite)
Duration: 250 days to start (with potential extension)

Key Responsibilities

Lead analysis and recommendations for identity, authentication, and authorization (IAA) standards
Assess current standards and identify modernization opportunities
Define business requirements, guidelines, and target-state operating models
Collaborate with solution architects to align business and technical standards
Facilitate stakeholder workshops and build cross-functional consensus
Support implementation planning, migration strategies, and risk mitigation
Provide clear, actionable insights to program leadership
Must-Have Qualifications

5+ years as a Data Architect, Data Specialist, or similar role in complex environments
Strong experience in:

Data profiling, discovery, and quality assessment
Source-to-target mapping and data migration
Conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling
Hands-on SQL experience + data quality tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Collibra)
Experience with health or identity data standards (HL7, FHIR, IAM concepts)
Ability to translate business needs into precise data definitions
Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with IAM / IGA solutions
Knowledge of SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and federation
Familiarity with MDM, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), integration tools (MuleSoft, Boomi)
Public sector or large-scale digital program experience
