Position: RQ11266 – Senior Data Architect / Data Modeller
Client: Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement
📍 Location: 40 St. Clair Ave W, Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
📅 Start Date: July 20, 2026
📅 Contract End: March 31, 2027 (Extension Possible)

Key Responsibilities
✔ Build upon Conceptual and Logical Data Models
✔ Continue data prototyping and proof of Conceptual Data Model (CDM) recommendations
✔ Refine Logical Data Models
✔ Support data migration strategy and planning
✔ Assist with Alpha prototyping and Proof of Concepts (PoCs)
✔ Develop enterprise architecture artefacts for Architecture Review Board submissions (AGP1)

Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience in Data Architecture and Data Modelling
Information Resource Management tools and techniques
Enterprise Architecture deliverables and data governance
Data migration strategy and planning
Experience with multiple database technologies, platforms, and operating systems
Database design and performance optimization
Systems analysis and design in medium to large enterprise environments
CASE tools for data architecture and modelling
Hands-on experience with ERWIN, Visio, PowerDesigner
Metadata management, data dictionaries, and repository functions
Data modelling standards and normalization
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment
