Job Description

What You’ll Do:
Design, automate and improve our software delivery platform.
Be at the forefront of helping lead and guide initiatives that follow best practices in infrastructure, automation, security, and observability.
Design and scale resilient backend cloud infrastructure to support our growing platform.
Work with other engineers and leaders to create and bring to life an actionable technical roadmap.
Lead and participate in discussions, stand-ups, and team meetings, contributing to a collaborative, innovative environment.
Help guide & mentor junior team members, foster teamwork, and maintain a respectful and productive remote work culture.
On-call rotation
Support our anti-racism and diversity, equity & inclusion (ADEI) mandate by (at a minimum) being aware of our ADEI commitment and initiatives, and completing all required ADEI trainings
What You Bring:
5+ years of work experience in Software Development and Cloud Infrastructure or DevOps
Proficiency in Linux system administration
Strong expertise in programming languages like Python and Bash
A deep understanding of cloud concepts and providers (especially AWS)
Hands-on experience with container and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
Strong ability to diagnose problems, identify root causes and collaborate to bring solutions to fruition
Working knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (IAC) and tools such as Ansible, Packer and Terraform
Hands-on experience with CI/CD concepts and tools.Experience using system monitoring tools (e.g. Sentry, Scalyr, Datadog)
A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and within a team to boost collective success
Nice to have:
Experience with distributed system programming.
Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g.TestIM).
$124,000 – $146,000 a year
The hiring range for this role is $124,000 -$146,000. Your specific compensation within this range is determined based on your job-related skills, knowledge, experience, and our internal equity assessment.
