Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer V -Azure/GCP. This position involves managing the end-to-end release processes for applications, primarily leveraging Azure cloud services, to ensure reliable, scalable, and efficient software delivery. Responsibilities
Drive the automation of application deployment pipelines across multiple environments using industry best practices.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (Terraform) and orchestration workflows with tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality release solutions.
Execute deployments and releases, ensuring minimal impact and high availability for testing and production environments.
Build and sustain testing ecosystems to support development, staging, and production activities.
Maintain and improve DevOps tools and processes within the segment team.
Lead technical problem-solving efforts related to release management and deployment automation.
Communicate deployment strategies, technical guidance, and best practices across teams.
Desired Skill-Set
Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure and VMware Cloud services.
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and orchestration tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
Strong customer-focused mindset with the ability to anticipate and address stakeholder needs.
Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, ideally in highly regulated industries.
Post-secondary education in computer science, engineering, or related fields.
Proven ability to influence and collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders.
Nice to Have
Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
Proficiency with SaltStack.
Hands-on experience with container technologies, including Kubernetes.
Knowledge of financial industry regulations and compliance.
