We’re looking for an experienced Senior Business/Data Analyst to join a high-impact data and reporting team within Global Banking & Markets Engineering (GBME). This is your opportunity to work on a long-term, high-visibility project supporting strategic decision-making across North American and LATAM business banking units.
🚀 About the Project:
The Client Analytics Platform (CAP) is a core internal reporting system that delivers crucial financial insights on client performance, profitability, capital allocation, and liquidity. Your work will directly support senior executives and bankers in managing client portfolios and making strategic decisions.
🔧 What You’ll Do:
Perform deep-dive data analysis on large datasets from multiple financial systems
Write and optimize advanced SQL queries
Map raw data to structured schemas for reporting and analytics
Collaborate across engineering, data, and business teams
Support dashboards and reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau
Contribute to automation and improvement of ETL pipelines
Support post-implementation validation and testing
✅ What You Bring:
10+ years of experience as a Business/Data Analyst
7+ years of SQL expertise (intermediate to advanced level)
7+ years working with Big Data and complex data mapping
Background in Finance/Accounting (3+ years), including P&L or revenue reporting
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
✨ Nice to Have:
Power BI experience
Fluency in Spanish (LATAM integration)
Previous experience with Big 5 Canadian banks
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Experience with automated testing
🎓 Education:
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
Financial certifications or coursework in statistics/mathematics is a plus
