Location: 222 Jarvis St, Toronto, ON (Onsite)
Contract Duration: Feb 2, 2026 – Sept 30, 2027 (Extension Likely)
Hours: 7.25 hours/day | 413 Business Days
Security Clearance: CRJMC
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Business Architect to support enterprise-wide business architecture initiatives within a government environment. The role involves close collaboration with senior stakeholders to define business capabilities, enterprise models, and transformation roadmaps aligned with organizational and public-sector strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze government business information and consult with stakeholders on business architecture initiatives
Lead focus groups, workshops, and stakeholder consultations to gather architecture inputs
Develop and maintain enterprise business capabilities aligned with corporate strategy
Create and revise business architecture artefacts within an Enterprise Information Architecture (EIA) or federated framework
Ensure vertical integration of business architecture across enterprise, program, and operational levels
Develop enterprise and core business models, including capabilities, processes, and value streams
Support business transformation planning and architectural governance
Translate strategic objectives into operational and delivery-focused business solutions
Mandatory Qualifications
7–10 years of experience in business architecture, including analysis, modelling, and capability development
Strong experience working in government or large public-sector environments
Proven expertise in enterprise capability modeling and business architecture artefacts
Experience contributing to enterprise-level business strategy and planning
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills
Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks such as Zachman
Desirable Skills
Ontario Government Enterprise Architecture practices
Information Management (IM) principles and strategy implementation
Translating business requirements into technical and functional requirements
Experience with Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) standards
Public sector healthcare or large government IT project experience
