📍 Location: Toronto, Ontario (Hybrid – 222 Jarvis, 5700 Yonge or 49 Place d’Armes, Kingston)
🗓 Start Date: October 14, 2025
⏳ End Date: March 31, 2026 (124 Business Days, with probable extension)
⏰ Hours: 7.25 per day
🔒 Security Level: CRJMC
✅ Must-Have Skills
Proven experience leading and conducting business analysis to assess problems/opportunities and document requirements.
Expertise in business cases, cost-benefit analysis, feasibility studies, and strategy development.
Strong experience in business modeling, data modeling, use case modeling, and process/data flow modeling.
Skilled in managing evolving requirements, traceability, and implementation of requirements.
Hands-on experience in customer journey mapping, process mapping, gap analysis, and modeling future states.
🎯 Responsibilities
Lead and conduct detailed business analysis to determine technology solutions.
Develop strategies, prepare business cases, and conduct feasibility studies for I&IT initiatives.
Perform gap analysis of vendor releases and recommend solutions.
Document requirements and prepare analysis/design documentation.
Work as a liaison with business clients and stakeholders.
Support modernization initiatives through OPS health-related projects and IT approvals.
Transfer skills and knowledge to OPS staff.
💡 Key Requirements
7+ years in business analysis with strong background in re-engineering and business process improvements.
5+ years across diverse business projects with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency with MS Office, requirements documentation, epics/scenarios, and mockup creation.
Public sector experience (mainframe/legacy systems, cloud technologies) is an asset.
