Senior Business Analyst

Our Canadian banking client is hiring a Senior Business Analyst to join their team on a contract basis. They are onsite 3-4 times per week at their downtown Toronto location.

Must Have Skills:
• 10+ years of relevant work experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst with a strong focus on data
• Experience working in financial services or regulated environments
• Ability to translate business and governance requirements into technical deliverables
• Experience collaborating closely with Data Engineers, Architects, and Developers
• Experience with API-based system integrations, including RESTful services and OAuth 2.0 authentication/authorization concepts for secure data access

Nice to have:
1.   Advanced SQL skills for data profiling, validation, and analysis
2.   Experience collaborating closely with Data Engineers, Architects, and Developers
3.   Strong background in data mapping, source-to-target specifications, and ETL processes
4.   2 years of recent Proven hands-on experience in data governance, data quality, and metadata management
