Focus Systems is hiring a Senior Business Analyst for an exciting, long-term contract with a leading public sector client in the insurance industry. If you’re known for translating complexity into clarity and can keep a project team aligned like a well-oiled machine, then we want to hear from you!
Key Details
• Location: Remote (Within Canada)
• Contract Duration: 1 year, with strong potential for two 1-year extensions based on performance
• Schedule: Full-time, standard business hours
• Start Date: Thursday, May 1, 2025
Requirements
• 7+ years in a Business Analyst role
• Experience gathering, documenting, and communicating business requirements
• Strong facilitation skills—liaising across IT and business units
• Proven ability to evaluate new applications and determine system requirements
• Experience preparing documentation and delivering presentations
• Undergraduate degree

• Have (or are working on) a CBAP designation
• Have a technical background
• Enjoy creating crisp, clear BRDs that make dev teams swoon
• Know your way around system enhancement proposals like a pro
