Role: Senior Backend SDET (Java + API Automation)
Location: Canada (Remote)
Hire Type: Fulltime/Permanent

Required Skills
• 7–10 years of experience in backend test automation or SDET roles.
• Expert-level skills in Java and API testing tools (Karate, RestAssured, Postman).
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP protocols, and backend architecture.
• Proven experience in automation architectural design.
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Jira, and Confluence.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead technical teams.
Tools & Technologies
• API Automation: Karate, RestAssured, Postman, WireMock.
• Test Data & Mocks: Faker, Karate Mock Server.
• CI/CD & Reporting: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Allure Reports, ExtentReports.
• Databases: Cassandra, NoSQL, SQL.
• Performance Testing: Gatling, JMeter.
• Collaboration: Jira, Confluence, GitHub.
