Senior Back-End Developers

Our client’s IT branch is seeking up to two (2) experienced and motivated Senior Back-End Developers for remote work with onsite meetings in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
The developers will play a key role in leading and managing the implementation of back-end solutions for large-scale enterprise platforms, products, and services, ensuring secure, cost-effective, and easily accessible government services. Working within a modern Agile framework, the developers will collaborate with a high-performing team culture to drive impactful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
– Lead and manage back-end implementation
– Apply security best practices and ensure regulatory compliance
– Conduct code reviews for high-quality standards
– Collaborate with DevOps teams for seamless code integration
– Monitor and resolve performance and security issues
– Maintain back-end development processes and documentation

Requirements:
– Strong background in back-end development
– Proficiency in current and emerging technologies
– Excellent communication, critical thinking, and collaboration skills
– Ability to balance business acumen with project leadership expertise

Technology Stack:
– React, React Native, TypeScript
– .NET/NET Core Framework, C#, Azure services
– Azure cloud-based development, MS SQL Server
– PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, GitHub

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
– 7 years of experience in API development and back-end architecture design
– 2 years of experience in mobile app development
– 8 years of experience in Senior Back-End Development for enterprise projects
– 7 years of experience in enterprise applications with relational databases
– 2 years of experience on the same enterprise project
– 5 years of experience in an agile development environment
