We are looking for a Senior Archibus Developer for a 12-month contract position, with possible extensions in Calgary, Alberta. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Position is available as fully remote, within Canada.

Role Description

Our client is seeking a Senior Archibus Developer to provide technical leadership and hands-on development throughout the discovery and implementation phases. The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Manager, business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and consultants to assess the current environment and deliver a stable, scalable, and maintainable Archibus solution.

Responsibilities

Conducting a comprehensive technical assessment of the Company’s existing Archibus environment, including its configurations, customizations, integrations, workflows, database structures, and reporting capabilities.
Reviewing existing custom code and identifying obsolete, unsupported, redundant, or high-risk customizations.
Documenting the current-state technical architecture and application dependencies.
Evaluating business requirements against standard Archibus functionality and recommending where out-of-the-box configuration can replace custom development.
Completing technical gap analyses and contributing to the design of the future-state Archibus solution.
Providing recommendations for simplifying the environment and improving system performance, maintainability, security, and upgrade readiness.
Configuring and developing Archibus modules, workflows, forms, reports, dashboards, and business rules.
Supporting data analysis, cleansing, mapping, conversion, migration, and validation activities.
Troubleshooting complex application, database, integration, workflow, and performance issues.
Developing technical specifications, solution designs, data models, deployment plans, and support documentation.
Supporting environment planning, release management, configuration management, and application deployments.
Working with business analysts and stakeholders to translate operational requirements into effective technical solutions.
Identifying technical risks, dependencies, constraints, and decisions and communicating them clearly to the Project Manager and project leadership.
Applying development standards and best practices to ensure the solution remains supportable and upgradeable.

Required Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related discipline.
Archibus certifications or formal Archibus technical training.
Extensive experience developing, configuring, implementing, and supporting Archibus in complex enterprise environments.
Archibus system architecture, administration, security, licensing, and environment management.
Experience transitioning customized enterprise applications toward standardized or out-of-the-box configurations.
Strong experience with technologies commonly used within the Archibus platform, which may include Java, JavaScript, SQL, XML, HTML, CSS, REST APIs, and relational databases.
Experience designing and supporting enterprise application integrations.
Strong knowledge of relational database design, data analysis, data migration, validation, and reconciliation.
Experience with application upgrades, testing, deployment, version control, and release management.
Experience diagnosing and resolving complex application, integration, database, workflow, and performance issues.
Experience producing clear technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration records, interface specifications, data mappings, deployment procedures, and support documentation.
