Hiring: Senior Appian Developer / Architect (C2H)
Location: Bay Street, Downtown Toronto
Hybrid: 2 days/week onsite
Client: Leading Canadian Banking Client

I’m currently supporting a major banking client in Toronto, and we are looking for an experienced Senior Appian Developer/Architect to join their team in a Contract-to-Hire (C2H) engagement.

This role will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to design and deliver scalable Appian solutions that meet complex enterprise needs.

Key Responsibilities
Participate in analysis, solution design, and new development of Appian-based applications.
Build and maintain applications using Appian BPM frameworks (interfaces, process flows, data types, integrations, expressions, sites, etc.).
Conduct rapid prototyping to gather client feedback and validate solution direction.
Perform Appian performance tuning to ensure scalability and resilience.
Collaborate closely with QA/test teams and UI/UX designers.
Conduct peer reviews, unit tests, and code reviews.
Build Appian plugins and embedded interfaces as needed.
Implement and promote Appian best practices in a low-code environment.
Optimize expressions and data usage for high-performance UI.
Ensure excellent user experience across all application components.
Contribute to quality assurance and testing standards.

Ideal Candidate
Strong hands-on experience as an Appian Developer/Architect.
Solid understanding of Appian BPM development end-to-end.
Experience working in enterprise environments, preferably banking or financial services.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
