Senior API & Integration Developer (Python and Java)

**HIRING – CONTRACT – HYBRID 2x/WEEK TORONTO**

One of our large insurance clients is looking for a Senior API & Integration Developer (Python and Java)!

Requirements:
8-10+ years of hands-on experience in API and microservices development using Python and Java (Spring Boot).
Proficiency with Apache Kafka, including publishing and consuming patterns for real- time streaming and event-driven solutions.
5+ years of experience deploying solutions on cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
Demonstrated experience with API management platforms (e.g., Apigee, Kong, Mulesoft).
In-depth knowledge of authentication protocols like OAuth, JWT, and secure API design.
Experience implementing event-driven architectures and real-time processing pipelines.
