Location: Edmonton, Alberta, Canada (Primarily Remote)
Contract: Full-time

About the Opportunity
Join the Digital Design and Delivery Division at the new centre for digital transformation. We’re on a mission to build better services by combining agile delivery, human-centred design, and modern data practices.
We’re seeking 3 experienced Scrum Masters to support cross-functional teams across multiple innovative service delivery and digital transformation initiatives. You’ll be at the forefront of building more efficient, client-focused services.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor cross-functional agile teams on service modernization and digital transformation projects.
Facilitate all core agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, demos, backlog refinement).
Coach product owners and delivery teams in agile best practices.
Identify and remove blockers to maintain delivery velocity.
Guide planning, release, and road mapping activities.
Maintain delivery metrics and report on progress using project management tools.
Collaborate on field research, usability testing, and service co-design with teams.
Must-Have Qualifications
Professional Scrum Master certification (active).
5+ years of experience in agile environments.
4+ years facilitating agile ceremonies.
2+ years of experience coaching agile teams.
Nice to Have
Experience delivering virtual training (Microsoft Teams preferred).
Agile backlog management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
Experience with user-centred design, service design, UX, and digital product teams.
Background working in the public and private sectors or large enterprises.
Familiarity with modern software development and DevOps practices.
Location & Work Arrangement
Primarily remote but may require occasional on-site presence in Edmonton with reasonable notice.
Travel within Alberta may be needed for field research (covered by the client).
Equipment and software to be provided by the Scrum Master(s);
Security Requirements
Must provide a current criminal record check.
May require Enhanced Security Clearance or RCMP-level clearance, depending on project assignment.
Must be eligible to work in Canada and meet security clearance requirements.
