We have an exciting contract Scrum Master opportunity with one of our financial services clients.

 

This is a 6-month contract, 3 days per week in Mississauga, ON!

 

You’d be supporting a Salesforce Upgrade Program, transitioning from Classic to Financial Services Cloud (FSC). The program is already underway, with a vendor running their own sprints — and this role will focus on leading all internal agile ceremonies, ensuring alignment with vendor deliverables, and driving execution efficiency.

About the Program

We are currently executing a Salesforce Upgrade Program, transitioning from Salesforce Classic to Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC). The program is already underway, with an external vendor running their own sprints, while our internal team executes sprints that both support the vendor and deliver independent projects. We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead internal agile ceremonies, ensure alignment with vendor deliverables, and drive efficiency across execution.

 

Key Responsibilities

Act as Scrum Master for internal workstreams within the Salesforce Upgrade Program.
Facilitate agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews/demos, and retrospectives.
Coordinate with the vendor’s Scrum team to track dependencies, blockers, and deliverables.
Support internal teams in delivering both standalone initiatives and vendor-related work.
Track and report sprint metrics (velocity, burndown, etc.) to drive transparency and improvement.
Identify, manage, and escalate risks, issues, and impediments in a timely manner.
Partner with Product Owners and Business Analysts to ensure a prioritized, program-aligned backlog.
Champion agile best practices and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Provide clear and consistent updates to the Program Manager and other stakeholders on sprint health and progress.
Required Qualifications

Proven experience as a Scrum Master supporting large, complex programs (Salesforce project experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum principles with hands-on experience facilitating ceremonies.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and external vendor dependencies.
Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
Strong organizational and stakeholder management abilities.
Proficiency with Jira for backlog and sprint management.
Preferred Qualifications

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
Direct experience with Salesforce implementations, ideally migrations from Classic to FSC.
Background in hybrid delivery environments (internal + vendor).
