Duration: March 1, 2026 – February 28, 2027
Workload: Full-time (Approx. 7.25 hours/day, 273 business days)
About the Role:
The Government of Alberta’s Digital Design and Delivery Division (DDD) is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support digital transformation, service innovation, and program delivery initiatives across ministries. You will work with cross-functional teams to drive agile delivery, remove impediments, and ensure consistent sprint performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor teams on Agile principles, policies, and procedures
Facilitate Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and refinements
Coach teams and Product Owners on backlog management, sprint commitments, and release planning
Track and report delivery metrics (velocity, burndown charts, sprint progress, etc.)
Support user research, usability testing, and digital service delivery initiatives
Remove blockers and enable teams to deliver high-quality product increments
