Engage with Business and Analytics teams to understand and analyse existing SAS jobs and reporting pipelines.
Conduct in-depth analysis and impact assessment of SAS-based workloads and recommend appropriate Python-based transformation solutions.
Design and develop reusable, scalable, and maintainable Python/PySpark scripts for batch and real-time data processing in the cloud environment.
Translate SAS data processing logic into Python or PySpark code ensuring functional parity and performance optimization.
Collaborate with Data Engineers, BI Analysts, and QA teams to ensure end-to-end solution quality.
Assist in data validation and reconciliation to confirm migration completeness and correctness.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to other team members during the conversion project.
Document all conversion patterns, business rules, and technical specifications.
