Job Overview

As an SAP Functional Consultant – Finance for our client, this role is mission-critical in implementing and optimizing SAP Finance solutions.
Collaboration with business stakeholders, solution architects, and technical teams will ensure that business requirements are translated into effective SAP processes aligned with the Strategic Transformation Roadmap.
The consultant will drive process excellence, compliance, and business value across finance functions.

Key Responsibilities

SAP Finance Solution Delivery: Lead design, configuration, and deployment of SAP Finance modules (FI/CO, Asset Accounting, Accounts Payable/Receivable).
Translate business requirements into SAP-enabled solutions, create functional specifications, support data migration, and collaborate with technical teams.
Business Process Optimization & Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct fit-gap analysis, optimize processes, facilitate workshops, ensure compliance, and provide SAP best practice guidance.
Project Management & Agile Delivery: Partner with project managers, scrum masters, and teams to deliver finance workstreams.
Participate in agile ceremonies, testing, defect resolution, and cutover planning.
Continuous Learning & Thought Leadership: Stay current with SAP S/4HANA Finance innovations, share best practices, and identify process improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, IT, or related field.
Minimum 6 years of SAP Finance (FI/CO) consulting experience, with expertise in configuration, implementation, and support.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance or ECC FI/CO and integration with other systems.
Strong finance process knowledge (GL, AP, AR, AA, Controlling) and regulatory compliance expertise.
Familiarity with SAP Activate, agile frameworks, and SAP Fiori is an asset.
SAP Finance certification highly desirable.
