Business Analyst – IT

12-Month Contract | Hybrid – Toronto | 3 Days Onsite Weekly (Tuesday required)

Start: ASAP | Strong possibility of extension

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to support a high-visibility enterprise Salesforce initiative. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical, technical, and stakeholder-engagement skills and has experience delivering complex enhancements within large, matrixed environments.

Key Responsibilities

Gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications for development teams
Analyze, design, implement, and provide ongoing functional support for assigned applications
Facilitate discussions between business stakeholders and IT to ensure alignment of solutions with business goals
Conduct cost/benefit and ROI analysis to support decision-making
Support one or more highly complex business processes and contribute across multiple initiatives simultaneously
Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with cross-functional project teams
Support production issue investigations, validation after deployments, and post-release health checks
Must-Have Skills

8+ years as a Business Systems Analyst, including 3–5 years in a large, highly matrixed enterprise
Experience delivering on large projects (>$5M) with multiple competing priorities and stakeholders
3+ years with JIRA, Confluence, and MS Suite
Hands-on experience working within an Agile delivery framework
Nice-to-Have

Experience with Salesforce (any cloud / sub-feature exposure considered a strong asset)
Past software development background or technical mindset
Project management exposure

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline preferred
MBA or advanced degree an asset
Agile/CSM certification an asset
Salesforce certification an asset (include Salesforce cred link if applicable)

2 rounds – MS Teams Video Interviews and in person interviews
