Agilus is recruiting for a Rig Supervisor (Contract) in the Oil and Gas sector in Fort McMurray, Alberta.
This is a seasonal opportunity ideal for individuals with hands-on experience in field operations. As a Rig Supervisor, you will support shallow well drilling operations during a winter project in Fort McMurray. No well control ticket is required. The role involves overseeing rig site activities, coordinating logistics, and ensuring safety and procedural compliance
A Typical Day
Represent the company on-site to support safe and efficient drilling operations.
Communicate safety and environmental expectations and support SSHE event management.
Monitor rig operations and ensure adherence to well procedures and emergency protocols.
Coordinate logistics for personnel, equipment, and services.
Conduct and support safety and operational drills.
Provide daily reporting and interface with engineering and geology teams.
Successful Candidates Will Have
Experience in rig, field, or supervisory roles (agriculture, trades, or drilling preferred)
Ability to work in remote, camp-based environments.
Must be able to travel to Calgary or Edmonton for charter flights to site.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Willingness to work a 14/7 rotation in winter conditions
Experienced with shallow wells required.
Total Rewards
$90.00 – $95.00 hourly
Chartered flights from Edmonton/Calgary to Fort McMurray.
Camp provided.

Shift rotation, 14 days on 7 days off.
