About the job
We’re looking for an experienced Project Test Lead that will lead Time and Attendance Program Testing phases for a global Workforce system transformation. The Test Lead will be working in a dynamic and high pace environment, planning and leading a team of testers, internal and third party resources, through the activities and deliverables of the project. The Test Lead has overall responsibility for the successful planning and execution of the testing cycles of the projects.

 

Functional Test Lead outline:

• Put in place a Test Strategy for the program and for the Canada and Australia projects, to lead the System Integration, User Acceptance Testing and Regression Testing phases

• Lead all Test Planning activities, including scoping, resource planning, scripting. Align with Saputo Leads and Project Managers on approach to drive these tasks.

• Work closely with the Saputo SMEs for Time & Attendance and US Absence, Workday Leads and IT HCM lead to guide and provide input to Workforce and Integration Test Scenarios

• Work with the Workforce Functional Leads and business SMEs to determine the input and content on testing Workforce and associated data / integrations.

• Work with the Integration team to ensure that the Integration and Data Testing are included in Test Scenarios

• Create a traceability matrix (template to be provided) to map requirements to test scenarios

• Work closely with the Saputo test coordinator to ensure that Test Scenarios are in appropriate format, level of detail and ready for the test tool ALM

• Align approach and scope of user Training prior to Testing with the the system integrators

• Lead SIT testing, providing knowledge and support to testers in the execution of Workforce testing.

• Provide first level support during the testing period for defect review and confirmation (issues with Workforce Configuration vs data vs integration vs ‘how to’)

• Establish execution targets and strategies to remain on track. Identify Risks and Issues as appropriate.

• Co-Lead prioritization of defect resolution with the System Integrator’s Functional Lead

Excellent communication skills and ability to lead workshops and achieve required outcomes

Is proactive and flags risks early.

Is a good problem solver – proposes mitigations before risks materialize

Ability to structure work, drive prioritization

Hands-on approach and is detailed oriented. Seeks to understand critical blockers and impacts in order to effectively prioritize activities

Has planned and led Testing Phases of at least 2 large projects.
