QA Specialist

IRING! QA Specialist – Toronto or Kingston – onsite

Responsibilities: executing system and user acceptance testing, analyzing business requirements and system response documents, designing and executing test plans and test cases, verifying expected vs. actual results, and logging and tracking defects using tools such as Azure DevOps.

Key skills: testing in an MVS/COBOL/DB2 environment, SQL and JCL expertise, solid understanding of relational databases, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, experience analyzing use cases, non-functional requirements, and test data needs, and the ability to create appropriate test data and support knowledge transfer to OPS staff.

Experience working with public sector mainframe/legacy systems is an asset.
