Role: QA Lead(API Automation)
Location: Toronto, ON
Type: Contract
Role Description
Actively involved in automation testing, API testing, and functional testing across the application landscape.
Lead and mentor the Quality Engineering (QE) team, providing direction on testing best practices and delivery standards.
Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to manage defects, assess risks, and ensure release readiness.
Drive best practices in Agile delivery, establish and enhance test automation frameworks, and promote continuous quality improvement across the POD.
Essential Skills
Strong expertise in defining and executing comprehensive test strategies for banking and financial applications.
Hands‑on experience with automation, API, and functional testing.
Proven ability to lead and mentor QE teams.
Experience managing defects, risks, and release quality in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
