QA Engineer

Technical Skills:
– Knowledge of QA methodologies, test planning, system dependencies, and product integration phases
– Experience with CI/CD pipelines
– Experience in mobile testing and API testing using tools like postman, Rest Assured
– Experience with devising test strategies, conducting and/or coordinating tests, and identifying defects to maintain high standards of performance and reliability
– Understanding of end-to-end quality and implementing testing strategies, automation frameworks, and best practices
– Understanding of working in an agile environment with various scrum teams, using test management tools such as JIRA / XRAY
– Familiarity with the use of LLM’s and AI tools to build and determine test coverage concepts
– Hands-on experience in Java Selenium for UI automation
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience

Working Knowledge:
– Exposure to the Atlassian tool sets, Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence, etc.
– Ability to collaborate in Agile environments, actively participating in sprint planning, stand-ups and retrospectives

Soft Skills:
– Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with onshore and offshore teams
– Ability to work closely with developers, product and business stakeholders to align testing efforts with project requirements
– Ability to be a collaborative team member and deliver in a fast-paced environment with short sprint cycles
– Ability to continuously improve testing processes, identify gaps and recommend automation where feasible
– Ability to coordinate tool enhancement needs with infra/tools team
– Ability to communicate on team’s behalf to both technical and non-technical audiences
