I’m hiring for Python & SQL Developer contract roles in Toronto for a high-visibility regulatory technology project with a Top 5 Canadian Bank.
This is not just a regular development role.

A strong Python & SQL Developer who brings:
✅ 8+ years of overall development experience
✅ 4+ years of professional Python development experience
✅ Advanced Python coding skills and framework experience
✅ 6+ years of strong SQL experience
✅ Hands-on experience with complex queries and performance tuning
✅ 6+ years working with relational databases like SQL Server or Oracle
✅ 4+ years of REST API development / integration experience
✅ Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles
✅ Experience with DevOps practices and code quality standards

⭐ Bonus if you have:
🌟 Git / version control experience
🌟 Large-scale or high-volume data system experience
🌟 Agile / Scrum delivery experience
🌟 Banking, finance, risk, or regulatory reporting exposure
🌟 Cloud exposure
