Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Project Manager – RTR (Real-Time Rail) Payments. This position involves leading the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale payment system projects within a collaborative and innovative environment. The successful candidate will manage multiple teams, oversee the delivery of critical payment applications, and work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure project success and alignment with business objectives.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end planning and execution of complex payment projects, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
Define project requirements, including data needs and business analysis, and develop detailed project plans with milestones.
Oversee multiple teams and collaborate with business units, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
Coordinate meetings, communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior leadership.
Manage resources and budgets, ensuring effective deployment and utilization.
Identify potential risks early on, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate unresolved issues appropriately.
Ensure all project phases—from initiation to closure—are completed on time and meet quality standards.
Oversee systems development and modifications for real-time payments processes.
Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with organizational standards and best practices.
Drive continuous improvement and support the adoption of new tools and methodologies.
Desired Skill-Set

8+ years of experience managing large, complex IT projects, ideally within banking or financial services.
Proven expertise in full project lifecycle management.
Strong proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, Confluence, JIRA, Clarity, and PowerPoint.
Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to work autonomously and handle broad, high-impact initiatives.
Nice to Have

Experience in banking or financial institutions.
PMP certification.
Payment or large-scale initiative experience.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and contemporary project management tools.
