💼 Role Overview:
Are you a seasoned Project Manager with a passion for digital transformation and experience in public sector environments? Join a high-impact initiative within the Ontario Public Service (OPS) to lead large-scale modernization projects that will transform how public services are delivered across Ontario.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
Lead end-to-end project delivery from concept to deployment.
Define scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Monitor milestones and adjust project plans as needed to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.
Team & Stakeholder Management
Coordinate cross-functional teams (technical, design, operational).
Act as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders and leadership.
Provide regular project updates and executive-level reporting.
Risk & Compliance
Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with OPS standards, including I&IT Directives and PMO Stage Gate processes.
Maintain all required project documentation including business cases, risk assessments, and roadmaps.

🧩 Required Skills & Experience
✅ Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-phase projects
✅ Deep understanding of project management tools: Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps
✅ Strong experience in risk management, budget monitoring, and stakeholder communication
✅ Prior experience working in the Ontario Public Service (OPS) or equivalent regulated public-sector environments
✅ Proficiency in collaboration tools: Microsoft Teams, Miro, Atlassian Confluence
✅ Experience working with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based project implementations
✅ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

⭐ Nice to Have
Experience in Agile/Scrum project delivery
Knowledge of ITIL framework and Ministry of Government and Consumer Services (MGCS) processes
Exposure to privacy, security, and compliance documentation in digital service delivery

🎯 Must-Have Qualifications
Hands-on experience with multi-year projects (large budget/scale)
Strong documentation and reporting capabilities
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Prior OPS experience is essential
