Job Title: Project Manager (Health IT) – 1-Year Contract
📍 Location: Nova Scotia (Hybrid – Local Candidates Preferred)
⏳ Duration: 1-Year Contract (Late July / August Start)

🔍 What You’ll Do:
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of health-focused technical projects
Coordinate with clinicians, healthcare providers, and stakeholders across Nova Scotia
Manage project documentation: charters, roadmaps, risk assessments, and communication plans
Oversee a cross-functional team (5 direct reports including move coordinators and technical analysts)
Ensure compliance with provincial health standards and public sector regulations
Support change management and clinic modernization efforts
✅ What We’re Looking For:
5+ years of experience managing complex technical projects
4+ years in provincial public service
4+ years in the healthcare sector
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Experience leading large-scale health information system projects
Strong communicator and relationship-builder across technical and clinical teams
Proven ability to deliver on time and within scope
🎯 Nice-to-Have (Preferred):
PMP Certification
Prosci/CCMP (Change Management)
ITIL Certification
Prior experience in Nova Scotia’s healthcare system
