Job Title: Project Manager (Credit Derivatives)

Location: Canada (REMOTE)

Type: Contract

 

We are seeking an experienced Functional Project Manager to lead Phase 2 of the CDS NY Implementation Project, with a primary focus on Darwin platform enhancements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Credit Derivatives, proven experience managing end-to-end project implementations, and the ability to coordinate effectively across business, technology, and operations teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the delivery of Phase 2 of the CDS NY implementation program.
Manage and track project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues.
Coordinate Darwin enhancement initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Drive stakeholder engagement across Front Office, Middle Office, Operations, Risk, and Technology teams.
Manage project budgets, resource planning, and governance reporting.
Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, execution, defect management, and sign-off.
Monitor deliverables to ensure timely and high-quality project execution.
Facilitate workshops, requirements discussions, and status meetings with business and technology teams.
Prepare management updates, project dashboards, and steering committee materials.

 

Required Skills & Experience:

10+ years of Project Management experience within Capital Markets/Investment Banking.
Strong experience leading end-to-end implementation projects.
Hands-on experience in Credit Derivatives (CDS) domain.
Experience with Darwin platform and related enhancement initiatives.
