Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Project Manager – Coupa/Banking. The position involves leading and supporting automation and invoice processing initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring project success from initiation to closure. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, gaining exposure to various systems and software applications.
Pay rate range (CAD): $72.46/hr – $86.96/hr
Responsibilities
Plan, execute, control, and close out projects or work packages, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget
Collaborate with business partners to gather, validate, and document requirements; facilitate discussions on solution design
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and change requests; provide regular updates to management
Identify opportunities for process improvement; recommend process changes to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards
Analyze project risks and issues; develop mitigation strategies and support decision-making to keep initiatives on track
Support operational initiatives beyond project scope as needed
Interact with cross-functional teams (business, technology, third parties, and contingent workers) at various organizational levels to gather requirements and obtain necessary approvals
Ensure all activities comply with relevant organizational policies, standards, and controls
Make recommendations for process enhancements to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
Desired Skill-Set
5+ years of experience in business analysis and project management within financial services
Solid stakeholder management skills spanning multiple years
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, capable of conveying complex information clearly and professionally
Proven collaboration skills within cross-functional teams, respecting diverse points of view
Ability to influence stakeholders effectively without direct authority
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously with strong time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Project, Teams, and SharePoint
Nice to Have
Coupa experience
Familiarity with Procure-to-Pay processes
Invoicing and procurement background
Experience working in similar financial institutions or banking environments
Knowledge of Jira and Confluence
