💼 Job Overview

Lead and coordinate all stages of project management from initiation to closeout for civil engineering projects, ensuring alignment with governance, safety, quality, budget, and schedule commitments across all project phases (Identification, Initiation, Definition, Execution, Closeout).
Support scope development, constructability reviews, business case submissions, project charters, WBS creation, estimates, schedules, risk management plans, and contract performance specifications while applying structured project controls and governance.
Coordinate bid packages, tender evaluations, stakeholder meetings, vendor communication, contract management, regulatory approvals, and project turnover documentation while maintaining compliance with corporate procedures and regulatory requirements.
Monitor project cost, schedules, variances, forecasting, and risk mitigation plans.

☑️ Qualifications

Civil Engineering degree (B.Eng or BASc in Civil Engineering or equivalent) is required.
Requires 6 to 8 years of progressive project management experience in civil engineering or heavy industrial construction environments.
Strong hands-on experience with structural concrete, reinforced concrete, foundations, formwork, and major concrete construction or rehabilitation projects is required, with proven application in a project leadership or project management role.
Strong knowledge of project management principles across the full lifecycle, including cost estimating, forecasting, scheduling, and project controls, with experience managing competing priorities of scope, cost, schedule, and quality.
Experience managing multiple-contract, multiple-stakeholder projects with schedule constraints in complex environments such as generating stations or heavy industry is required.
Strong understanding of construction methods, contract management, quality assurance, health and safety, and commercial contracting practices is required.
Experience managing concrete-related scope is strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of applicable Ontario codes and standards related to concrete work is a strong asset.
Past nuclear experience is strongly preferred.
Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and organizational skills are essential, with demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and external stakeholders effectively.
