Project Administrator – Intermediate (Information Management)-REMOTE

Job Type: Contract: (Full-Time)

Work Model: Remote – Canada (Occasional on-site meetings may be required at facilities; travel expenses will be reimbursed if requested)

Start Date: August 18th, 2025

End Date: July 17th, 2026

Compensation Range: $22–$28/hour (based on experience and fit)

Hours: 9 am to 5 pm (Monday to Friday)

Security Clearance Required:

Secret (Candidates must already hold or be eligible to obtain)

 

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Administrator (Intermediate level) to support digital transformation initiatives in a federal information management environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about digital tools, project coordination, and knowledge management in a structured government setting.

 

Key Responsibilities

Assist with project planning, monitoring progress, and preparing orientation materials
Maintain and distribute project documentation, including contact lists, charts, and contractual details
Set up and manage project management tools, draft reports, briefing notes, and presentations
Coordinate and support training activities for project team members
Perform data entry, analysis, and provide solutions to project challenges
Support lifecycle processes of information management and digital transformation
Develop and maintain support resources and digital tool tutorials
Triage and respond to support requests and inquiries
Migrate content to SharePoint Online and help automate workflows within Microsoft 365 / D365

 

Qualifications:

Minimum secondary school diploma (post-secondary preferred)
At least 2 years of relevant project administration experience in the last 5 years
At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Information Management, including Microsoft 365 and/or Defence 365 SharePoint
Strong proficiency in English (oral, written, and comprehension – Advanced)
Experience in coordinating, supporting, and tracking project milestones and deliverables

 

Assets:

Familiarity with public sector or government environments
Experience in digital tool adoption, user support, and training
Strong analytical and documentation skills

 

Additional Details:

Equipment Provided: Government-issued laptop and access to secure networks for remote work
