Programmer/Software Developer

Procom is currently looking for a Programmer/Software Developer for our client in the public sector

THIS CONTRACT HAS A TBD START DATE AND GOES TILL END OF MARCH 2026
1 OPTION PERIOD OF 1 YEAR
LOCATION: REMOTE (OTTAWA AREA)
LANGUAGE: BILINGUAL
CLEARANCE: RELIABILITY (MUST HOLD BEFORE SUBMISSION)
REFERENCES: ALL PROJECTS BEING REFERENCED

Experience:

🛑 Must have post-secondary education, either a diploma, degree, or higher qualification in Computer Science or a related field from a recognized Canadian institution, or an equivalent qualification from an accredited international institution.
🛑Must have at least five (5) years developer experience, of which at least the last two (2) years as Agile developer with experience in Power Platform Apps specifically including:
🖊️ Power Automate,
🖊️Power BI,
🖊️Dataverse
🖊️Python
🖊️SQL
🖊️SharePoint Lists
🖊️Fabric
🖊️SAP S4 HANA
🛑Must have at least five (5) years of developer experience, with at least the last two (2) years having worked on API development using integration technologies and protocols (SOAP/REST).
🛑Must have at least five (5) years of developer experience, with at least the last two (2) years having worked on SQL relational database technologies including design ETL and tuning.
🛑Must demonstrate excellent communication skills, be a strong team player, and have proactive problem-solving abilities.
🛑Must have the following qualifications as an asset. Preferred certifications include:
🖊️Power Platform App Maker (PL-100)
🖊️Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant (PL-200)
🖊️Power BI Data Analyst (PL-300)
🖊️Microsoft Power Platform Developer (PL-400)
🖊️Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect (PL-600)
🖊️Microsoft Power Platform (PL-900)
