Location: Hybrid (Toronto or Kingston, Ontario)
Contract Rate: Up to $1,000 per day
Security Clearance Required: Yes
Eligibility: 5+ years of Permanent Residency in Canada or Canadian Citizenship

Are you a highly experienced Program Manager with a passion for transforming the healthcare landscape? We are looking for a dynamic and strategic leader to join our team in a pivotal role that involves managing large-scale, high-profile health programs in a hybrid work setting.
As the Program Manager (Health), you’ll be responsible for leading, strategizing, and executing complex health-related initiatives. From developing impactful program strategies to managing multi-jurisdictional projects, you’ll drive change, improve processes, and deliver on critical healthcare goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage large, complex, high-risk programs and projects in the health sector, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Oversee cross-functional project teams, coordinating efforts to maximize ROI while ensuring delivery against key timelines, budgets, and objectives.
Manage program budgets, funding channels, and resources to ensure cost-effective and efficient service delivery.
Foster collaboration with key stakeholders, client partners, and vendors to drive change initiatives and simplify processes.
Create and maintain program documentation, including training materials, business cases, and reports for senior management and committees.
Provide mentorship to staff, enabling successful long-term operational activities and continuity.
Work with executive leadership to ensure governance frameworks and oversight tools are in place to drive program success.
Skills & Experience:
5+ years of program management experience, preferably in the public sector and/or healthcare.
Proven track record in managing large, complex programs with inter-connected projects.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including the ability to influence decision-makers at all levels.
Expertise in budget management, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
Strong leadership abilities and experience managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Familiarity with agile delivery and iterative project management methodologies.
Public sector experience, especially within healthcare and government regulations, is an asset.
BSc/BA in Management or a related field. PMP certification is a plus.
