Job Description You will be working on a flexible hybrid schedule as part of Fidelity’s dynamic working arrangement. The work location for this role is 483 Bay Street in Toronto until approximately late 2026, when the work location will change to the new Mississauga office at 3 Robert Speck Parkway. Current work authorization for Canada is required for all openings. Fidelity Clearing Canada (FCC) is the leading independent clearing broker and custodian in the Canadian market. Product Solutions Manager Sr FCC Business Overview The FCC Product Solutions team operates in a highly collaborative agile environment where cross-functional teams drive and deliver product innovation.
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager who will be responsible for delivering high-quality products by working closely with Product Owners and Delivery teams, ensuring that the solutions developed meet both user needs and business objectives.
How You’ll Make An Impact Position Overview
The Product Solutions team drives innovation in digital financial technology, and seeks a creative, client-focused individual to join the team. This role focuses on ensuring the successful delivery of cross-platform initiatives by driving the implementation of cross-functional product strategy by maintaining alignment to the vision across all agile teams. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who thrives in collaborative agile environments and can effectively lead while working alongside Product Owners, Business Systems Analysts, Product Operations, and Internal Operations teams.
Key Accountabilities
Collaborate with partners across many disciplines, and at all levels across the organization to create and manage product strategies that will directly influence FCC Product backlogs.
Conduct regular and effective group exercises and workshops with stakeholders to identify valuable product innovation opportunities.
Conduct regular touchpoints to consult VP, Product Solutions and Director, Product Solutions in order to develop and remain aligned on the long term program strategy.
Create and maintain high level strategic program roadmap, focused on discovery work, informing the underlying product roadmaps.
Research and conduct competitive analysis on automated toolsets, and remain current in industry best practices related to their product program.
Run various ad-hoc research and business analyses to assess new innovation opportunities and risks.
Remain current in knowledge of vendor solutions and how suitable they would be for any problems we are trying to solve.
Work with Product Solution Managers to ensure program strategies are implemented in the right product, and in the best interest of our clients.
Communicate strategy to Product Solutions Managers to inform the appropriate product roadmaps and backlogs.
Effectively communicate the desired user journey.
Collaborate with Product Solutions Managers to fit the right part of the user journey to the appropriate product area based on user personas and product fit.
Ensure clear communication across organization on automation goals and delivery.
Identify where a new innovation or feature enhancement is the best solution to a problem.
Focus stakeholder discussion onto the problem space, to understand at a deep level what problems to solve
Actively assess and mitigate product risk (financial, partner, marketing, sales, legal and ethical risks).
Create meaningful strategies based on deep understanding of FCC business objectives and key problems we are trying to solve.
Work with internal Stakeholders to translate FCC business objectives into specific product program objectives
Work with all stakeholders to define overall program success metrics
Inform Product team of key program initiatives to inform product specific metrics.
Communicate strategies to product solutions managers for execution by product delivery teams, and to stakeholders.
Facilitating opportunity assessment discussions as a means of prioritization identifying and communicating objective, key results, target market and customer problem being address
Experience What We Are Looking For
Minimum 5 years’ experience in product management with at least 2 years of those years in a senior role within the financial services industry.
Experience managing products that span multiple development teams and business domains
Strong background collaborating with Product Owners and delivery teams in agile settings
Proven experience working in dual-track scrum agile environments.
Education
Completion of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience.
MBA would be considered as an asset.
Designations, Licenses, or Accreditations
Agile certifications CSPO or equivalent.
ACSPO or equivalent would be considered as an asset.
Certifications such as a CFA, CSC would be considered as an asset.

For this role, your total rewards include
Base Salary and Discretionary Performance Bonus A competitive annual range of $135,000 to $146,000, based on your experience and qualifications.
