📍 Hybrid – Downtown Toronto (2 days/week onsite)

We’re seeking a Principal Engineer / Solutions Architect to join our Chassis & Service Engineering team. This is a strategic, high-impact role focused on the migration from Apigee Edge to Apigee X, where you’ll work closely with top-tier architects, cloud, and network engineers.
🔧 What You’ll Do:
Lead the design and implementation of Apigee X infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
Migrate and modernize Apigee Edge workloads to Apigee X
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to build the next-gen API gateway platform
Architect and deploy secure, scalable APIs following best practices (OAuth, SAML, SSL, TLS)
Establish Infrastructure-as-Code standards and automate deployments
Provide hands-on development support for proxy flows, templates, and API security features
✅ What We’re Looking For:
10+ years of IT experience; 5+ years in an architect-level role
Deep expertise in API development, stack migration, and cloud-native platforms
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, IaC)
Strong knowledge of cloud architecture (preferably GCP, but open to AWS/Azure)
Familiarity with IAM, OAuth, SAML, TLS/SSL, and enterprise-grade security practices
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
🌟 Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with Apigee X in production environments
Familiarity with enterprise middleware/integration tools
Certifications in Cloud or API products (bonus!)
