Principal DevOps Engineer

We’re Hiring: Principal DevOps Engineer 🚀

Veem is growing, and we’re looking for a Principal DevOps Engineer to help lead our infrastructure strategy and take our platform to the next level.
If you’re a hands-on technical leader who loves building scalable, reliable cloud systems, mentoring teams, and driving DevOps best practices in a fast-paced environment—this role is for you. This is a remote role in
Toronto, with 1-2 days onsite a month.

Own and evolve our AWS cloud infrastructure using IaC (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation)
Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments
Lead initiatives around observability, monitoring, reliability, and security
Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Security leadership
Mentor and influence a growing DevOps/SRE team
Play a key role in a FinTech company on a path to IPO 📈

What we’re looking for:
8+ years in DevOps / SRE / Platform Engineering
Deep AWS experience (EKS, EC2, IAM, VPC, ALB/ELB, Lambda, Autoscaling)
Strong CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions)
Infrastructure as Code expertise
Experience operating highly available systems at scale
Passion for automation, reliability, and continuous improvement
