Power BI Report Developer (Hybrid – Courtice, ON)
Contract: 8 months | Hours: 35/week | Location: Courtice, ON (Hybrid – 2 days remote)
Salary Range: $42-$48/hr (T4) / $57-$65/hr (I.C.)
Are you a Power BI expert ready to turn legacy SSRS reports into modern, interactive dashboards? We’re looking for a skilled Power BI Report Developer to build and maintain data models, design insightful reports, and collaborate with stakeholders to support data-driven decisions.
What You’ll Do:
Migrate existing SSRS reports to Power BI
Build and maintain efficient, scalable data models using best practices (star schema)
Design interactive dashboards and reports on the Power BI Service
Perform ETL tasks: extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources
Troubleshoot and optimize data queries and report performance
Collaborate with stakeholders and team members in an Agile environment
What We’re Looking For:
Advanced Power BI experience (Power BI Service, Power Query / M)
Strong SQL skills (T-SQL, query optimization)
Expertise in data modeling, ETL, and report development
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience in source control and ticketing systems
