Power BI & Microsoft Fabric Migration Consultant

Our client is looking for a Power BI & Microsoft Fabric Migration Consultant for a 10-month engagement, with the potential for extension. This fully remote position requires approximately 25 hours per week, with work hours between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Atlantic Time. The targeted start date is mid-April, depending on client readiness.

The organization is transitioning departmental reporting from Tableau and Entrinsik Informer to Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Fabric. The Consultant will be responsible for validating reporting requirements, rebuilding dashboards and reports according to established standards, and providing training, coaching, templates, and knowledge transfer to facilitate a scalable, self-service reporting model supported by governed data products and enterprise semantic models.

The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on Power BI development experience (requirements validation, report build, testing/UAT, publishing);
Demonstrated experience migrating reporting from Tableau (and ideally Entrinsik Informer) to Power BI; Working understanding of Microsoft Fabric concepts in a governed environment, etc. Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
Higher education / multi-department reporting environment experience;
Experience establishing BI standards/playbooks/templates at scale.
