Job Title: Power BI Developer (Hybrid – Oshawa / Remote)
Rate: $77–$92/hr inc. + HST (based on experience)
Contract Duration: 9 months | 35 hours/week
Location: Oshawa, ON (Hybrid – 2 days remote)
About the Role:
We’re looking for a skilled Power BI Developer to design, build, and maintain enterprise-scale BI solutions. You’ll transform business requirements into actionable insights, develop semantic models, interactive dashboards, and help drive data-driven decisions. If you love working with Power BI, SQL, and the broader Power Platform, this role is for you!
What You’ll Do:
Build scalable Power BI semantic models, dashboards, and reports
Write complex SQL queries and optimize data models
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver insights
Support data governance, row-level security, and deployment pipelines
Optional: Help build lightweight Power Apps / Power Automate workflows
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in BI development (Power BI focus)
Strong skills in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling
SQL expertise (SQL Server, Azure SQL, Synapse, or Snowflake)
Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps / Power Automate) is a plus
Agile or iterative delivery experience
