⏳ End Date: July 29, 2026 (Possible 6-month extension)
🕒 Hours: 7.25 per day | Monday – Friday | 8:15 AM – 4:30 PM (Alberta Time)
🔍 Role Overview:
We’re seeking a Senior Network Analyst to support multiple ongoing projects within the Government of Alberta, including the Correctional Center Wi-Fi and Video Visitation Upgrade Project.
This role involves hands-on work with Cisco technologies, Wi-Fi setup, and SD-WAN configuration, along with travel to facilities across Alberta as required.
You’ll play a key role in modernizing, managing, and supporting network infrastructure across provincial sites.
🧩 Key Responsibilities:
Configure, install, and connect Wireless Access Points (WAPs) and Cisco switches
Configure and test Wireless LAN controllers, firewalls, and SD-WAN services
Create and maintain Visio network diagrams and documentation
Support core network configuration and cabling at Neil Crawford Centre
Lead and support network modernization projects
Troubleshoot and resolve network issues and optimize performance
Maintain and upgrade network software/hardware
Provide knowledge transfer and cross-training to team members
💡 Qualifications:
Proven experience in network design, implementation, and support
Expertise with Cisco technologies (Switches, WAPs, Firewalls, SD-WAN)
Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
