.NET Developer – Finance Application Modernization (Hybrid, Toronto)
Location: Toronto, ON – Hybrid (2 days onsite, flexible)
Salary: $54–$62 CAD/hr (contract)
Duration: ASAP – 31 Oct 2026 (possible extension or conversion)
Work Hours: 9am–5pm, Mon–Fri (37.5 hrs/week)
Are you a talented .NET Developer ready to modernize critical Finance workflows? Join a fast-moving tech team supporting enterprise Finance systems and help upgrade a core web application from .NET 8 → .NET 10, implement new features, and stabilize the platform during migration.
What You’ll Do:
Develop backend services in C#/.NET, integrate with responsive frontend components
Build and optimize SQL queries and RESTful APIs
Troubleshoot, fix bugs, and participate in code reviews
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver maintainable, high-quality solutions
Gain experience contributing to large-scale enterprise Finance modernization
Must-Have Skills:
5+ years as a developer with web development fundamentals
1+ years C#/.NET experience
1+ years SQL experience
1+ years developing RESTful APIs
Nice-to-Have:
ReactJS, Angular, or other frontend frameworks
QA Automation (Selenium, MoQ)
Experience in Financial Services / Banking
