Manual QA Test Engineer

We are looking for a Manual QA Test Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to join our remote team based in Canada. As a detail-oriented professional, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through meticulous manual testing processes. Your dedication will be instrumental in delivering a seamless user experience and upholding our high-quality standards.

🧪 About the Role:
We need someone who can:
– Analyze software requirements and technical specifications to create thorough test plans and cases.
– Conduct manual functional, regression, integration, and UI testing.
– Identify, document, and monitor defects using tools like JIRA.
– Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders for timely issue resolution.
– Attend requirement and design review meetings.
– Uphold QA standards and best practices.

✅ Required Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
– 3–5 years of manual software testing experience.
– Profound knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
– Ability to write clear test plans and cases.
– Proficiency in tools like JIRA and TestRail.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
– Excellent communication skills for remote teamwork.

💡 Preferred Skills:
– Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman.
– Basic SQL knowledge for data validation.
– Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
– Exposure to automation testing frameworks is advantageous.
